Richard Entrup Biography
An accomplished business technology executive with over 24 years experience, Richard Entrup has amassed a diverse portfolio of IT and business experience within various industries including healthcare, management consulting, legal, entertainment/media, and retail. Entrup has worked within nonprofit organizations, public and private companies, partnerships, and private equity-backed firms. Entrup is currently serving as chief information officer at CareOne, LLC, a senior care company.
Prior to CareOne, Entrup was technology director for The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, where he directed the IT departments responsible for all back office systems as well as many specialty applications including membership, ticketing, multi-channel retail, eCommerce, investments, digital asset management, and audio/visual. Prior to joining MoMA, Entrup served as chief information officer at Byram Healthcare, a national medical supplies provider. Under his leadership, Byram's IT group supported over 100 percent growth in under three years via an aggressive M&A strategy. Prior to Byram, Entrup served as director of information Systems at Wilson Elser LLP, a large international law firm. During his six-year tenure at Wilson Elser, he completed the planning and execution of a major technology overhaul of all voice and data systems. Previously, Entrup held various IT management positions at Viacom and Tiffany & Company.
Entrup serves as a board member for the New York chapter of the Society of Information Management (SIM).
