Mykolas Rambus Biography

Mykolas Rambus is director of Rambus Acquisitions LLC. He was previously a partner at KAHLEPartners, the Washington, D.C.-based CIO advisory firm. He is responsible for new business development in addition to managing existing client relationships. Prior to joining KAHLE, Rambus was the CIO for the W. P. Carey group of companies, where he received the CIO Decisions Midmarket Leadership Award. He was president and CEO of LOBBY7, a telecommunications software company acquired by Nuance Communications, selling multimedia server products to global customers, and once worked for American Management Systems and Startec Global Communications. Rambus is a frequent commentator on CIO issues in various publications including CIO Magazine, CIO Decisions Magazine, and the New York Times. He has been a keynote speaker at numerous technology leadership events, and was most recently the graduation keynote speaker for New York Public Schools' IT Academy. He studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he concentrated in operations research and information technology, and is an active member of the venture capital and start-up communities.
