Arthur Langer

Arthur Langer is associate director for instruction and curricular development of IT Programs at Columbia’s School of Continuing Education. Langer consults with corporations on information technology, staff development, and management transformation in the United States and Europe. He is the author of Applied E-Commerce (Wiley, 2002), Analysis and Design of Information Systems (Springer-Verlag, 2001), and The Art of Analysis (Springer-Verlag, 1997). His research involves the study of adult education, mentoring, intellectual development, and learning transformation theory; distance education; and the design of technology-based curricula. He holds a B.A. in computer science, an M.B.A. in accounting and finance, and an Ed.D. in higher education.

Arthur Langer teaches Technology in the Business Environment and Product Realization.
