Campus Tours

Tours of Columbia 's Morningside Heights campus are available for prospective High School Program students and their parents.

Tours last one hour and are conducted by current undergraduate students who provide a general overview of academic and student life at Columbia University. Tours are generally offered, with some exceptions, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please contact the Visitors Center (212-854-4900) to ensure that a tour is offered on the day of your visit. Reservations for tours are required only for groups of ten or more and are offered through the Visitors Center. Any group larger than ten must request a reservation at least three weeks prior to the date of your intended visit.

Prospective students and families with questions about the undergraduate admissions and financial aid process are encouraged to attend a 10:00 a.m. information session conducted by a member of the admissions staff.

From September 19 through November 21, 10:00 a.m. information sessions and 11:00 a.m. campus tours are offered every Saturday, with exceptions. During other times of the year, Saturday information sessions and campus tours are only offered the second Saturday of every month, with occasional exceptions due to holidays and the academic calendar.
