E-mail and Computing

An official Columbia University e-mail account is provided to each student so that the University and school can send official communications to the student's University address. A Columbia e-mail account also allows access to the full resources of the Registrar and Student Financial Services via Student Services Online. Student account information, including monthly billing statements, is only available online through a student's University e-mail account. Columbia does not send out paper statements of account.

Students are required to activate their CU e-mail accounts before their first registration and to check their e-mail regularly.
