Deposit Requirement

In order to secure a place in the program, admitted students must pay a nonrefundable deposit of $500.00, applicable toward tuition, no later than two weeks after receiving an admissions letter.

The Strategic Communications program is normally part-time.

One-time fee for first-time registrants (whether or not they subsequently withdraw from the University).

University Facilities Fee/Student Life Fee

Required of all students; one-time fee covers May 26-August 14.

Registered for 12 or more points in all summer sessions $271.00

Health Service Fee

Students may elect to pay the Health Services Fee for coverage from June 1 to August 31, 2009. For more information about the Health Service Program, please visit www.health.columbia.edu .

Students that were enrolled in the Health Service Program during the spring 2009 term are automatically covered through August 31, 2009.

Residential students are required to enroll in the Health Service Program.

Please note: X-rays, laboratory tests, prescriptions, or care by a specialist outside of Health Services will be in the financial responsibility of the student and his/her medical insurer. Visiting summer students are not eligible for Columbia's Student Medical Insurance Plan and are advised to provide themselves with appropriate coverage.
