Susan Duffy

Susan Duffy is a professional communicator who has practiced corporate communications for the past 16 years, and prior to that worked as a business journalist. She is currently on hiatus after a decade as vice president, corporate communications, at media and entertainment conglomerate Viacom Inc. and a two-year stint in a similar position at Time Warner. Prior to those roles, Duffy worked at strategic communications firm Robinson Lerer Montgomery, where she counseled senior executives in the entertainment industry, both in New York and London, on corporate positioning, media relations, crisis communications, and investor relations. She also served as a speechwriter for CEOs of several of the firm's clients. Duffy's journalism career included positions at Business Week, Barron's, Texas Monthly, and The Trenton Times (then owned by The Washington Post). She received a B.A. in journalism and political science from Syracuse University.
