Who Should Apply

The program is designed for a range of individuals, though it is best suited for those who are currently working in the sports industry and are seeking advanced training in business, finance, and marketing.

Other suitable candidates include students with undergraduate degrees in sports or recreation management who are looking to complete a graduate degree in the field; retired athletes; or those with advanced degrees in business, law, or journalism who are seeking to expand their credentials into the sports world.

For those not currently working in the sports industry, completion of a graduate degree must fit into a broader personal plan for entering the industry--an applicant should have a demonstrated commitment to engagement with the field through activities such as internships, volunteering, and involvement in industry organizations.

All applicants must hold a bachelor's degree.
