Curriculum

The 36-point program includes a core of three courses designed to ground students in the field. Five electives allow students to focus their work in an area of concentration, such as health care, the environment, ombuds practice or information technology. At least three of these electives must be chosen from courses designed for the program; up to two may be chosen from course offerings in other schools of the University. Three Master's Project Seminars immerse students in the world of negotiation and conflict resolution by providing exposure to professional work in the field with a grounding in theory, research and practice. While enrolled in the executive seminars, students complete their master’s projects.
