Anne Trumble

 Anne Trumble worked at Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects in New York City where she was primarily involved in the development of the West 125th Streetscape in Harlem with the New York Economic Development Corporation.  Trumble previously practiced in Vancouver, British Columbia assisting on projects including the Canadian Embassy in Rome, Vimy Memorial in France, and Veterans' Memorial in Toronto. Trumble began her career in landscape design as a habitat designer at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska where she also consulted on the initial sculpture garden concept for the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts.  She holds a B.S. in horticulture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and an M.L.A. from the University of British Columbia where she spent a semester studying architecture in Tokyo and a summer in Havana, Cuba as part of a multidisciplinary urban development research team. She is currently working on a book on energy landscapes and green infrastructure.
