Early/Late Registration

Early registration

There are periods each November (for the spring term) and April (for the summer and fall terms) during which most continuing students can register early for upcoming semesters. The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs notifies eligible students of these registration periods by e-mail.

Late registration

Students who are unable to register during the early or regular registration periods may register during the late registration period upon payment of the late registration fee of $50.00. Some Summer Term courses may require permission of the instructor in order to register late. See the Calendar for deadlines.

Students seeking to register after the late registration period must have the approval of the course instructor, as well as an adviser in the Office of Student and Alumni Affairs, and must pay a late registration fee of $100.00. Permission to register after the late registration period is given only under exceptional circumstances. See the Calendar for deadlines.
