Dennis Leff
Dennis Leff is the logistics manager for Bovis Lend Lease, a project management and construction company. Since joining Bovis Lend Lease, Leff has been actively involved in applying new technologies to enhance the firm’s construction management process, including 3D renderings and animation, which assist project teams, clients, architects and engineers to fully understand the logistics of a project during various phases. He has a combination of hands-on field supervisory experience with 3D and 4D BIM Modeling and 2D, 3D and 4D logistics planning expertise.
Educated in systems analysis, HVAC design and instrumentation/measurements, his technological background serves as a foundation for the development of practical logistics plans on many of the firm’s most complex assignments. His knowledge of project scheduling has allowed him to merge the project’s timeline with the logistics plans - serving to illustrate how the two are closely interrelated and simultaneously managed. Prior to his role as logistics manager, Leff served as a field superintendent where his responsibilities encompassed coordination, scheduling and supervision of field operations, implementation of logistics plans, interfacing with trade unions, quality control and assuring compliance of the work with the specifications.
Leff holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from SUNY Buffalo.
